How to Design Bulk SMS Website with SMS Portal Creator

Step1.

 Chose a domain name: a domain name is your unique name you bear on internet as in www.lowosms.com www.hostniger.com note that your domain name should be easy to spell, easy to remember, easy to pronounce and may carry the phrase “SMS”.

To register for a domain name and a good hosting plan for your bulk-sms business.  Will Cost you N 3,000 only per annual. Waite for 24 hours or 12 hours for your webhosting service provider to send you an email ok.

Step: 3 Login to your email address which you use to register your domain name, to read the message that was sent to you by your webhosting service provider. This email will contain:

1.   A link to your website 2. User name and password for your c-panel

POINT TO NOTE: PLEASE KEEP YOUR PASSWORDS INTACT DO NOT GIVE ANYBODY IT IS MEANT FOR YOU ALONE.

Step 4: open your browser and type your domain name on the browser in this format www.hostniger.com/cpanel     once this is done it will request for your username and password remember this has been sent to you by your hosting company ok.  See the picture below

Step 5: you are at the c-panel window now look for quick install and click on it. See the picture below.

Please note that you can only use this method if your SMS component is compatible with current Joomla version if not you will need to install Joomla manually. Click here to read on how to install Joomla  manually ok. If your sms component is compatible with new version read on     

Step 6: by your left hand side click on Joomla, then click on continue (“the dynamic portal engine and content management system. Version: 3.3.6  Install Size: 20.35 MB Official Site: http://joomla.org/) and complete the form respectively sees the picture below. Respectively 

   

Congratulation you have successful completed installing joomla on your domain. If you type your web address on browser now you will see new thing right.

Step 7:  type your website address to your browser in this way www.hostniger.com/administrator  if you install your joomla on subfolder it will be like this www.yourdomainname.com/yoursubfoldername/adninistrator  as in www.hostniger.com/sms/administrator  if you have done that you will be requested to enter your username and password respectively. The username here is the username you enter when you are filling joomla form and the password that was generated for you automatically ok. Not the one that was sent to you by your hosting company.    If you have enter your username and password correctly that is you are now at your backend of your website see the picture below

 

Step 8: you need to create about us or contact us page

Firstly you need to create menu: click on MENUS Click on MENU MANAGER click on ADD NEW MENU enter your menu details. Click on save and close.

Secondly assign a module for the menu you just created.

Thirdly click on menus then click on  your menu name (the one you created ) then click on add menu item. See the picture below

     

Let your menu Tittle be the same with your article tittle ok. Then click on save and close.

N.B to create Article click on article manager click on add new article

Step:9 upload your sms component by clicking on extension manager

Step 10: create a new menu by repeating step 8.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE FOUR ACCESS  LEVEL YOU CAN ASSIGN

PUBLIC ACCESS: Registration

 REGISTERED ACCESS: buy sms, phone Book, compose SMS, Load a voucher, member setting member transaction member history  

SPECIAL ACCESS LEVEL:   component setting, generate voucher etc belong to this level 

Step 11: type your web address on the browser and sign in then, click on the admin settings on the menu you just installed. You will be required to set your phone number and address before you can view the admin settings. Do that and click save then precede to the next crucial
